About

I grew up in a union State. My parents were fairly solid Democrats. I was a student in Ann Arbor in the 1970’s. I campaigned for George McGovern. My brother was a Union leader. I worked for the federal government for 37 years. I lived many years in a Blue city.

By all rights those things should have made me what the media calls a liberal, more accurately a person on the political left. But I am not. God had a different plan for me. I can easily see the world from the political left, but I am not on the political left. Life was not always clear to me, but it is very easy to see it all for what it really is from the right.

I hope one day to turn this blog into a book, although it seems like other priorities pop up. I did find the time to wrote a short historic walking tour of Eagle River, Michigan. The writing and publishing experience gave me renewed respect for those who well and publish. To get an idea of how I’m thinking of organizing this blog into a book, read the posts in numerical order. Those category numbers are my preliminary book outline.

I also have many other thoughts that don’t seem to fit into my preconceived notion of the book I’d like to write. Those posts are not numbered, but they are categorized.

This blog is dedicated to the remnant, the meek, those who inherited the earth. It may seem that barbarians rule the earth, but they always fail. Always.
